HOW TO REGISTER:
if you are already enrolled in graduate classes at ASU.

if you are applying to the certificate for the first time.

if you do not want to apply to the Certificate program at this time, but want to take a course.

if you are a Scottsdale Healthcare Employee and want to take a course for the first time.

 

How to register if you are already an ASU student

  1. You will need clearance to register from Laura Orr, laura.orr@asu.edu, 602-496-0800. Contact Laura to get clearance.
  2. Log into http://my.asu.edu with your asurite id and password
  3. Click on Course Catalog
  4. Click on Add Class

 

How to Apply to the AIHM Certificate Program

All applicants must submit an application to the Certificate Program to the School of Social Work and apply to the Graduate College.  Applications are accepted throughout the year. 

Registration for Spring classes begins in November
Registration for Summer classes begins in February
Registration for Fall classes begins in March

Contact the School of Social Work at 602-496-0800 for specific registration information.

 Students can begin taking classes in any of the three semesters but we recommend starting in the fall.

The following items must be submitted directly to the ASU Graduate College:

 

The following items are submitted directly to the School of Social Work, Office of Academic Services:

  • School of Social Work application to the Assessment of Integrative Health Modalities Certificate program
  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • A one to two page, double spaced statement describing how you will use the knowledge gained in this certificate program in your professional and or personal life
  • Official transcripts from all institutions granting you an undergraduate or graduate degree

 

Mail your completed School of Social Work Certificate application packet to:

You will be notified via-email that your certificate packet has been received.

If you have any questions, please contact ASU, School of Social Work, Office of Academic Services at 602-496-0800. To Register: Once you are accepted to the Certificate Program, contact the School of Social Work, Office of Academic Services at 602-496-0800 for registration clearance.

 

How to register if you do not want to apply to the Certificate program at this time, but want to take a course

You can take up to two courses without applying to the Certificate program

  1. Apply to the ASU Graduate Collge as a Non-Degree Grad student
  2. Go to http://www.asu.edu/gradapp
  3. Fill out the online application
  4. Once you are admitted, you may enroll in classes. You need clearance to register from Laura Orr. Follow instructions at the top of the page on how to register if you are already an ASU student.
