In the Spring 2002, the ASU School of Social Work launched a continuing education program in partnership with the Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. NASW has sought to meet the rising demand for continuing education among its members. By combining the strengths and resources of both organizations, we hope to bring timely and relevant knowledge and information to the social work community throughout the state of Arizona. The professional social work community in Arizona has long expressed an interest in and need for ways to enhance and enrich their understanding of the many changing problems and issues in social work practice. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long partnership designed to meet these needs.
